The method is meant to have “medium protection” that dries right down to a “subtle matte end” with “no cracking or flaking.” Many of the shades had semi-opaque to opaque protection, so that they have been extra pigmented than marketed.
The feel was light-weight, skinny, and really fluid (nearly watery in a method, that being neither professional nor con!), which made it straightforward to unfold throughout my lips and get an excellent software of product. I observed that the method was typically forgiving of lip texture/lip traces and did not settle into my lip traces whereas drying down.
