Trek-Segafredo placed on a present of power on the Jebel Hafeet climb end on the UAE Tour Ladies, with Elisa Longo Borghini and Gaia Realini dropping all their rivals on the 11-kilometre climb.
Esmée Peperkamp (Crew DSM) was the final rider to lose contact with the Trek-Segafredo duo 5.2 km from the end, and Realini led them many of the approach to the end earlier than Longo Borghini took over within the final 1500 metres.
The 2 teammates crossed the road holding fingers in celebration, with Longo Borghini simply forward to take the stage win and turn out to be the brand new general race chief.
